Lombok Island is an island in the Sunda Kecil Islands or Nusa Tenggara which is separated by the Lombok Strait from Bali in the west and the Alas Strait in the east from Sumbawa. The topography of the island is dominated by the Rinjani volcano whose height reaches 3,726 meters above sea level and makes it the third highest in Indonesia. This mountain last erupted in June-July 1994. In 1997 the Segara Anak mountain and lake area in the middle was declared protected by the government. The southern part of the island consists mostly of arable land that is used for agriculture, commodities that are usually grown in this area include corn, rice, coffee, tobacco and cotton. Sasak tribe also well-known as a regional culture. which is very interesting to explore from its traditional house, language and daily culture of the Sasak tribe. Lombok residents mostly Muslim, natural wealth Lombok is also very beautiful for us to have an adventure in the wild, one of the favorite destinations here is climbing Mount Rinjani and exploring of the three Gilis, there is no motorized transportation except boats, horse carts or bicycle in Gili island. the spot for snorkeling is no doubt.
